02How it works

IP68 vs IP69K — two different kinds of wet
IP68 rates protection against continuous submersion in water; IP69K rates protection against high-pressure, high-temperature washdown spray, the kind used in food and pharma sanitation routines. The junction box is likewise stainless and washdown-rated, and the complete assembly is tested for both weighing accuracy and seal integrity — including a simulated washdown test — before it's calibrated and shipped as a complete system.
